We felt so much holiday cheer this past Friday! Thank you to the Denver Santa Claus Shop for the invite to their ribbon cutting ceremony for this year’s Toy Shop.
The ceremony had great turnout with attendees including representatives from retailers and non-profits alike. Mayor Mike Johnston was there, giving an incredible speech before the ribbon cutting as well. Best of all was Santa’s arrival escorted by the Denver Fire Department!
The Shop relies on the help of dedicated volunteers, hosted toy drives, and individual donations to provide toys to all families in need. We were so excited to contribute to this organization’s outreach through our drive, knowing we had just a small part in making someone’s holidays special. The ribbon cutting ceremony was the bow on top of a great drive!
The Denver Santa Claus Shop has been spreading holiday cheer since 1931, helping over one million local children over the years. This holiday season they had over 14,000 families registered! Think about all the joy the Shop was able to provide this year.
We are so thankful to be included in the day and contributing to the happiness of local families. Thank you and Happy Holidays to all our friends at the Denver Santa Claus Shop!
We hope you consider following our efforts to give back, even if just a little. If you’d care to contribute to The Shop’s mission of “A Toy for Every Girl & Boy,” you can donate below.
