Last week, we spent time in Pittsburgh at the Steel Erectors Association of America 2025 Convention and Trade Show. As this was our second time at SEAA, we saw familiar folks and met new ones. It was a jam-packed few days full of educational and recreational activities, along with great networking opportunities.
This convention put on by the Steel Erectors Association of America caters to structural and reinforcing steel contractors, fabricators, and suppliers. Attendants of this industry meant that load safety, carrier vetting, and niche steel hauls were a major focus. Conferences like SEAA are extremely important, as it keeps us up-to-date on the needs and goals of those in the steel industry.
Of course, the conference isn’t all business. SEAA filled the days with activities as well, including a sightseeing riverboat cruise. It was on outings like the cruise that we were able to connect with folks beyond exhibit booths and formal networking. We enjoyed getting to know people beyond just their business needs, all while having tons of fun.
As always, SEAA puts on a great conference, and this year was no exception. We look forward to seeing everyone next year!
